Hi I’m Rachel Spurgeon a modern British garden designer, I enjoy creating beautiful spaces that give a sense of joy and calmness, but aren’t too much work.
I’m a huge fan of plants, and so my gardens are centred around them. As a former architect, I’m sensitive to spaces, views, vistas and light and enjoy bringing everything together in a carefully considered design.

About me
I’m a former architect who fell head over heels in love with plants, and now design gardens for private clients in Hampshire, Oxfordshire and London.
I love to create spaces that are both calming and uplifting, places to relax after long busy days. They are gardens that will be places of interest all year round.
Design Process
I begin by sketching ideas, translating my vision into detailed plans.
From there, I carefully select plants and materials, overseeing the process until the garden comes to life, perfectly realized.
